Operating large-scale hostels, student living facilities, and co-living spaces requires juggling room inventories, erratic maintenance tickets, utility metering, and collection of monthly dues across hundreds or thousands of residents.
Architecture of Kexlin's HostelHub
When designing HostelHub, our engineering team focused on three critical automation vectors:
- Smart IoT Access Control: Integrating smart electronic door locks and biometric turnstiles with tenant lease records. If a tenant's lease ends or automated checkout is processed, digital access credentials are instantaneously revoked or rescheduled.
- Zero-Touch Invoice Reconciliation: Eliminating manual bank transfer verifications by provisioning dynamic virtual UPI and payment accounts per room, matching receipts automatically against outstanding balances.
- Resident Mobile App Ecosystem: Providing tenants with real-time room issue reporting with image attachments, meal booking, and transparent utility tracking directly on iOS and Android.
